Seems that way. Those of a more unitarian nature seem much more down to earth and respectful of other groups.

There are actually some non-Trinitarian denominations that are quite strict and legalistic. However, I don't want to name them here, because that would suggest that I'm calling them "barbaric".

Here's the small list of non-Trinitarian groups.

As for the Unitarians, Swedenborgians, and other groups, I've had good dealings with them, and agree that they're respectful of others. But some other non-Trinitarian groups aren't quite as open.

It has nothing to do with trinitarian. The whole of the Christian church is trinitarian. The problem children are the ones that take the bible literally. What we call the Fundamentalist.

If by "respectful of other groups" you mean that they don't hold any firm convictions and believe that Heaven is like a mountain top and there are many roads to reach it then you are correct.

Christians believe what Jesus said, that He was the way the truth and the life and that no one could come to the Father apart from Him. We believe that our sins separate us from God but that God loved us too much to leave us in our fallen condition and that He sent his one and only Son to pay our sin debt for us.

Believing that, why should we tolerate other beliefs? I'm not talking about being kind and loving to people who hold those beliefs. I'm asking why we should care so little about other people that we won't risk being disliked for telling them the truth of what the Bible teaches.
