Actually that's pretty mild compare to things dogs will sometimes eat. You'd be amazed.
If you suspect your pup ate the ring, you should have him in for an x-ray. This will show you if it has "passed" or not. Your puppy may need surgery to remove the ring.
If no ring is found in your puppy, then off you go on a ring hunt. Not a pleasant job, I know but it needs to be done. Hopefully you're good at keeping the yard clean, this will help you with your search.

Yes, dogs can (and will!) eat anything that will fit in their mouths! You can wait a day or two and see if it comes out, but I doubt it will make it out on its own... A mini schnauzer has a tiny booty, and a ring is HUGE in comparison! You really need to take him to the vet, because it could really hurt his insides, and cause a blockage!

You need to call the vet. This ring could be made of harmful metals. The vet will do a x-ray to determine if your pet swallowed the ring and what to do.And yes, pets do eat rings. If your fiancee had just handled food....etc,your dog may have smelled it on the ring and tried to eat the ring.

I think your dog is probably ready to pop the question. Get ready!! This is very exciting, try not to offend your mini schnauzer by letting on that the ring is kind of smelly.

Yes, they can and will swallow these things, it may sound like a scene from a bad comedy movie, but it can happen. It will pass through the system naturally, or you can go to the vet, they can screen to make sure he did swallow it and its not lodged in a loop in the bowel, they may also give you laxatives to help your dog pass it, it just means you will be watching your dogs bowel movements veerrrry carefully.

Puppies tend to chew on anything that they can get ahold of, especially things that are small enough to fit in their mouths. Therefore, your puppy could have swallowed the ring.

Dogs will east anything they find on the floors, tables anywhere. Better start to check the poop!
If you dont find it in your dogs poop by tomorrow better get the dog into the vets for an x-ray to see if he really ate it or not. It could cause real problems.

Oh yes they can! Just watch her poopy very closely, she will probably poop it out, very gross I know, but if you want the ring back, that is what you will have to do, probably dig throug the poop to find it. Watch the dog closely if you don't find the ring, and you may have to take her to the vet, to see if it is bound up in there somewhere. My guess is, she will poop it out.

Yeap, they can do this. It's time to go on poop patrol and sort though all the stool for the ring. Also, consider going to the vet for an xray to see if it's present.
