The accurate knowledge that you come to learn when you begin to study and associate with the witnesses

Way before I realized that anyone called what the Jehovah's Witnesses teach "the truth", I was calling it the truth. I found myself saying things like: "I can't believe that I finally found a group that teach the truth!" I had studied the Bible for years, and I had read lots (hundreds actually), of books by so-called Cchristian writers. I studied Revelation and the prophecies and everything that Jesus taught about the end times, and I knew what the Bible said, but all those people who wrote about such things made it sound like science fiction. They were just making everything even more confusing. I finally put the Bible down, and all those other books and just went on my way without God for a while, but when I started studying with the Witnesses, no one told me it was the truth, they didn't have to...they taught what the Bible really teaches! Not only that, but they live it. It is not a religion, it is a way of life that truly has God's approval. If you want the truth, then rid yourself of all your preconceived false notions that the world teaches, and learn what the Bible really teaches. I did and I found out that "the truth" really does set you free...it gives you real hope in a world where there is little of it! When people reject us, it isn't really us they are rejecting, because it is not our message that we carry, its God's message. It isn't us it hurts, it is all the ones who are rejecting it. We carry this message out of love for Jehovah and his Son, Jesus Christ, and for all mankind as well.

John 17:3:"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.'

John 4: 23 & 24: "Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.”

Knowing what the Bible really teaches is vital if we are to worship God in an acceptable manner.

Ephesians 5:10: "Keep on making sure of what is acceptable to the Lord"

2 Timothy 2:15-17: "Do your utmost to present yourself approved to God, a workman with nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of the truth aright. 16 But shun empty speeches that violate what is holy; for they will advance to more and more ungodliness, 17 and their word will spread like gangrene"

Basically the truth is what the whole bible said, for example Jesus said in mattews 5:5 that the earth will be inherit by good people so we believe trhat the earth will be of the good people, we believe that are two groups of people saved 144,000 and a great crowd (Revelation 7:1-5) but the bible said in Revelation 14:1-5 that only the 144,000 are redeem from earth and you won´t find in the bible that said that great crowd are redeem from earth this great crowd must be the same group that Jesus said that will inherit the earth, can you prove with the bible that this is not correct? if no then why you don´t believe in the bible?

What they call the truth is their interpretation of the bible. Basically they believe Paradise will come to Earth after Armagedon and only they and a few "pure of heart" will survive and rebuild the new Earth. Anyways, I think it's silly for anyone to claime to HAVE the truth. And I hope your not thinking of joining them in their arrogance.

You might research the phrase, 'heavenly deception'. It seems that people who preach the 'Truth', aren't always required to be honest.
