Okay, well, last year I liked this guy who was kind of my friend. We have a lot of chemistry and a lot in common. Everyone thought he liked me and that he would ask me out, but he never did. At the end of the school year last year, I told my two friends that I liked him. I met this other guy during the summer, and was totally expecting something to happen with him, but he turned out to be a jerk and never called me.
Then I went back to school this year, and my friend (one of the ones whom I told about my crush) said she was going to go out with the guy I liked to make her ex jealous. She asked me if I was okay with it, I said yes, as I was still waiting for a call from that other guy.
Anyway, the first guy didn't want to do the thing with my friend, but then she started liking him. I didn't have classes with him, so we didn't talk as much. Then I went out with one of our mutual friends, who ended up dumping me.

Now, I like the first guy again for the same reasons, and I think he might like me, but my friend likes him A LOT. And I don't want her or our friends to be mad at me.

Oh, and me, my friend, and the guy, and almost everyone else are all going to the same high school.

What I am curious about is why you are afraid if people will be mad at you. What about your friend- isn't she concerned about the same thing? Didn't everyone know that you were the one who was liking the guy in the first place. If he likes you and you like him- you will be together.
Your friend just wanted to use him in the beginning to make her x jealous, or that's what she said as an excuse, but it never happened anyhow.
This guy will ask out the girl he likes, otherwise, he is sitting back-passive/aggressively to watch you and your friend duke it out over him, in which case there would be too much drama over him.
If you don't have a problem with it, ask him out yourself, and get it over with.

If the guy you like doesnt like her the same way it doesnt matter. The ONLY way to get him to like HER more is to kill offf ALL the competition and that just aint gonna happen hon.If he hasnt asked you out yet he isnt going to.Im sure someone has told him you have the hots for himby now.Move on.

your friend wrong for that she already knew you liked him an she shouldn't have tried to use him like that don't let her mess up something you THINK is going to work BUT don't let a boy mess up a good friendship talk to your friend tell her that if she was a true friend she would accept the fact that you liked him first and she need to leave him alone I HAD THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME EXCEPT THE OTHER GIRL WAS MY COUSIN !!!!~~T-Boo~~
