I Fly home from Chicago to Toledo Airport and when I got there it was 11 P.M. .They told us our luggage was left in Chicago..I had my Car Keys in my bag ( I know Dumb but I don't travel all the time). They told me they didn't know what to tell me and I was all on my own ...I had to rent a car and my car had to stay in the lot for another day ...I didn't get home till around 3..Waisted my next day..I had to have car back and I missed another day of work ?American Airlines made me really madd.

You don't get compensated for delayed luggage. Airlines have very limited liability for completely lost luggage. Yes, I'm sure the airline did make you mad, but that's the way it goes.

Lesson learned, don't put your keys in your checked in luggage.

No compensation for delayed luggage but I believe they do compensate you for lost luggage.

Dude, they don't compensate you for that. It's just one of those traveller woes that plagues our country. Suck it up and deal - and don't fly that airline again.
