So, like my best girl friend (not one word) is my best friend's ex...and now she has a new BF, but she is showing some interests in me (cute smiles, alot more talking, walking with me whenever possible). Oh what is a boy to do. Will my best friend mind? what about the boyfriend. A 17 year old's life can get complicated sometimes. What should i do? I love having her as one of my best friends, but I think I might like her she is pretty cute and i'm not bad looking myself (but that could ruin a friendship) please help I have no idea what to think/do.

The short term "love" will make you lose your best friend. No matter what he says ("No problem...go ahead and date her...), it will cause problems! She may also be trying to tick your buddy off...along with liking you...
Remember, girls come and go, but your true "buds" will be there forever.
Unless you plan to marry this girl, and even if you do, avoid dating her like the plague!

You first have to take into consideration how long has your best friend and his ex went out for.. and how long has it now been since there break up. And when your 100 percent sure she likes you then ask your friend if its alright to date her and that you really like her but you would respect his feelings if he wasnt cool with it. This makes you seem like a really good friend and he'd appreciate that from you. If she likes you enough she will break up with her boyfriend to go out with you. The same thing has happened to me but i was the girl in this situation. And in the end I went out with my best friend and we are still holding strong for over a year and a half. He is still friends with my ex but they arent as close as they used to be because of college and conficting schedules. But overall he was fine with it. Good luck.

Don't play the fool! ~ "I ran into an ex-boyfriend who told me that he still had feelings for me and that he wanted to date me again." ~ The next day he called me to ask some basic questions about her ~ what happened to the feelings he had for you? I am starting to think the guy is a jerk. Don't you be one!

You need to take into consideration which relationship you truely value more... your BEST friendship?? or creating a new relationship with some female?? Unfortunately in these cases, you are your best critic. You really just need to figure out which relationship means more to you. Good luck :)

No. 1, she's your best friend's ex. Big no-no.
No. 2, she is currently in a relationship. Big no-no again.
No. 3, although she is your best friend's ex AND currently in a relationship, she is sending signals your way. Majorly big no-no.
Steer well clear of this one. You have nothing but friends (I mean real friends, not little s1uts like her) to lose and nothing but STD's to gain.

I personally think that she is a slut! and you should say hay! you have a boyfriend..go make googley eyes at him! because.......If a girl does that ....that just means that she is tired of her own boyfriend.......and that she doesnt have the gutts to break up with him! and if you tell her that.........your best friend will not be mad at you but will be mad at her! Its a win/win situation!

or else u can ask personaly when u r moving alone that "whom do u like??"
