I've heard this can be a sign of male pattern baldness setting in? I'm very concerned because I'm only 18 and it does run on my father's side of the family. I'm very uncomfortable with a very itchy and flaky red scalp. I occasionally experience some tingling and severe itchiness and pain. There's also a bit of hair fall especially in the shower. It's mostly in the back and top of my head and the side/temple area.

Is there a chance this is just natural hair loss and baldness setting in? I plan on going to the dermatologist soon but it does cause me to worry.

I don't think it's natural hair loss. It does indeed sound like a matter for a dermatologist. He might prescribe you a special shampoo to deal with the dandruff and redness.

Good luck!

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://bitly.im/aMMXn While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.
