If you mean the same World War II where the United States had 407,000 military casualties, then no, I didn't know we had passed that mark.
Yes, that is 407,000 casualties when the US population was at 130 million.
I can say that back in the 40's, the US's resolve was a lot different than today. Back then, WE NEVER LOSE.
If we had that resolve today (I do), can you imagine the lunacy of fighting us?

Yes and here is why. During WW2, we had Generals running the War. Now we have a few politicians and not a d*** one of them were ever in the service, let alone combat. Look at the names, Ike, Patton, Chesty Puller etc etc. Now it's Bush, Bush and Rove. By the way, doesn't Rove look like a sneeky little brat imp to you???

Yes I did. In WW2 we used whatever force was necessary to bring an end to the hostilities...can't say the same for Iraq as the enemy is mostly not identifable as they were in WW2.

Has it been 12 years? Not! From start to finish, it took 12 years from the start of the U.S. participation till when rebuilding was complete.
