my guess would be that he or she loves hello kitty. i have a friend who is actually going to get a couple of hello kitty tattoos and her husband has one (hidden in another tattoo) for her.

My tattoo artist....a male....has pooh bear on his arm. He has two full sleeves and one of his arms tell about his life and his daughter. She loves pooh and he has a pooh bear beside her picture. His arms look great so if he can look good with pooh another adult could have a reason to have hello kitty.

well it's totally up to you. it'd be cool that your/or whoever is getting a tattoo wants it to be hello kitty. Shows that your not afraid to put things on your body that u love.

I'm not being mean or anything, but it's kinda juvenile and trashy. And I'm sure the adult that gets the tat won't like Hello Kitty forever. But it's not my body...I say if it will make you happy and you'll like it, that is what counts. Maybe try a temporary Hello Kitty tat first?

That's funny because I was actually thinking of getting one myself (I currently have 3). My husband says to go for it. It's something I grew up with and always reminded me of my childhood, so it would have meaning for me, not just a design.
So personally, I have to say if that's what they want, go for it. :)
