I only want to eat alot AFTER I take the Nexium

I have been taking prilosec which is a similar med for peptic ulcers and I want to eat everything in site. I like the fact that i can eat and not feel discomfort. I think its normal anyway i've been missing out on way to much good food for way too long!!!! Happy eating

Nexium as such does not increase appetite. Ofcourse your increased appetite might be related to your ulcer, which happens sometimes. Either way, you need not be worried too much about your increased appetite unless you are dieting.

You should go to www.drugs.com to read up on Nexium.
My mother took that last yr for an ulcer and it made hers worse.
