Sometimes during school, when I forget to eat, my stomach growls, and I can't eat during class. How Can I stop my stomach growling without eating, or cramming food in at my last meal, so I won't be so embarassed?

Oh my gosh, I used to get soooo embarrased too. I would try to squeeze my stomach, or try to burp...

But, there is no really good way to cover it up. Try drinking some water.

I think the best way to deal with it is to wait until your stomach growls, and then outloud be like "i'm so hungry".

Another thing to do is get some meal replacement bars. They are small, and discreet. You could probably get away with taking little bites.

Other then that, there is nothing else. Anyways, when you hear other peoples stomach growl you don't care do you. Because you know what it feels like. It's nothing to be embarrased about. It's not like they go home and say "Hey July, you won't believe this....I actually heard Sara's stomach growling today, she is such a loser" LOL. Not going to happen. They will all forget they even heard it 5 minutes after it happens. So don't worry about it girl, you good to go babe.

Your stomach growling is a normal thing. Its very hard to tell when your stomach is growing to growl. I don't think it is possible to cover it up unless an outside source emits a noise loud enough to block your stomach growling. Much like you coughing when its about to growl.

I stumble upon here because I have a pregnant dog with weird stomach noises too. The answer of Evoke186 caught my attention. Having a pregnant dog doesnt mean you cannot take care of your dog properly. All I can say is you shouldnt have gotten a brain if you wouldnt use it properly. I wish your mother did not allow herself to get pregnant as well!!

Breathe deeply, hold for the count of 10 and then let it out slowly. Continue until the noise subsides. Oddly enough, deep breathing stimulates the saliva glands and the stomach ceases to see if food is coming.

1) carry water with you....(tell the teacher that you've a dehydration problem)

or

2) When you feel that growling is coming, push out your stomach and hold....(don't push in). Try it, it works (90% of the time)!
