We like to season our steaks with fresh minced garlic and fresh ground pepper, and then spray lightly with Pam for Grilling just before putting them on the grill, which helps with searing and also to keep them from sticking. If you like salt, do this just before grilling so as not to draw moisture out of the meat.
For grilling times we use the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com. Enter the thickness and doneness you want and it will give you instructions for how to grill the t-bone just the way you want it.
It's also a good idea to let the steaks stand at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before grilling and to let them rest for 5 minutes after to keep them nice and juicy.

Hi. We normally only season our steak with pepper or maybe lemon pepper if you prefer, before grilling. We only put sauce or anything with salt when we are ready to eat the steak. The reason for this is that we notice that the meat is more tender.
I think that the salt draws out the moisture from the meat leaving it a bit dry and tough.
Happy grilling!

My husband seasons our steaks with McCormick Steak Seasong and marinates them in Teriyaki Marinade and Sauce by Kikkiman. The Kikkiman marinade has soy sauce, wine and spices in it.. It adds a delicate sweetness to the grilled steaks. Yummy =0]

I like to brush each side lightly with olive oil, then sprinkle with Montreal steak seasoning to taste ( I like a lot, my sweetie just a splash) Grill over Kingsford charwood in the charcoal grill til desired doneness - I prefer medium rare/medium, my guy is a rare all the way! Serve with your favorite sides such as grilled silver queen corn on the cob, fresh tossed salad & plenty of homemade garlic bread.

Mcormick has a nice line of seasonings. I use a chicken rub for my chicken and the Montreal Steak seasoning for any red meats i use on the grill. It has a bit of spice and its not too salty. If you like rubs/seasonings try that.
Most of the time, i like my meat juicy and flavored with some nice cracked black pepper and a little kosher salt. Sometimes less is more. =)

I use Omaha steak season salt but if you cannot or are not near an Omaha Steak Store then do this:
Use 3 tablespoons of kosher salt and fresh ground pepper. It will be delicious!

Easy! A T-Bone only needs salt pepper and a rub down of olive Oil.....Anything else you wont taste the meat and frankly it just is nasty.
