...and don't tell me that you love Catholics and hate Catholicism. Most people I know who hate Catholicism are ignorant of Catholicism and are fed with misinformation. AntiCatholicism is the one encouraged bigotry,IMHO. AntiCatholicism brings together the KKK andPP,the Far Right and the Far Left

Misinformation and deliberate lies on the part of some so-called "teachers" are probably the two biggest causes of anti-Catholic sentiments. Rather than ask questions of those of us who have studied our faith and know why we believe what we do, it's just easier to take someone else's word.

I've answered people's "Why do Catholics worship Mary?" or "Are Catholics really Christian" from a Catholic perspective. . .only to have them turn around and ask the same question again in a different form. What's the point in answering if what I'm saying is automatically discounted or denied?

If they're not willing to believe the answer of someone who IS Catholic, then as far as I'm concerned, they're not much better than trolls trying to stir up trouble.

They are the Biggest and the oldest "organized" Christian Church so they are the easiest to make fun of. They have already made many of the Mistakes that us protestants are starting to make. So why not?
I have actually heard people who love the Jews and yet say that the Catholics are not saved in the same conversation. The greatest thing GOD ever did for us was to come to earth in the form of a man. The worst thing we ever did to GOD was to try to put our own personal spin on it.

By the qualification of your question, I assume you are either Catholic, know Catholics or support in some way the Catholic Faith. Good for you.

I too was born into the Catholic Faith, with countless relatives and immediate family choosing to serve God in taking religious vows as priests, nuns and leity.

I have also spent some time in religious orders and can honestly say that virtually all of the Catholic religious I have met have been fine upstanding people.

Yet none of this excuses the events over the past two thousand years that constitute the Almanac of Evil. See

Nor can the activities of the Vatican be blamed on ordinary Catholics. Nor can the activities of the Jesuits be blamed on the ordinary clergy.

Contrary to rude or polite Catholic apologists, it has nothing to do with attacking the truth. It has everything to do with Catholics seeing objectively that their faith in Jesus, in God, in salvation and moral living has nothing whatsoever to do with the financial support of the Vatican and its thousands of Billions of dollars of hidden wealth.
