I'm a Catholic. I don't believe in homophobia.
I don't agree with gay marriage in church, only because it's against the bible. But lawful gay marriage isn't evil; it's equality.

I don't have to be psychic..to tell you. the time will come when light shall be spread. When that time do come, more people will be aware. And i feel the christian religion will perhaps go through a time of turbulance, where everyone becomes skeptical of why they even have the faith. Some will keep the faith as in hoping its the "devil" thats trying to change them. But overall, it will decay....leaving christians like the nazi's after the holocaust.
isn't there a law dealing with the seperation of church and state...if christians believe that, it shouldn't affect anyone who choose not to be christian. Its when christians judge those who arnt christians for not being christians. right now, i want to throw a wale on every christian' head
if i had the power, i would band old men from becoming popes. Most popes molest kids, because they are sad old men. They made that so people would think the catholic religion is not so bad, they arnt mean people, they don't have sex with little boys.
If you are aware, more popes molest kids than any other person that i am aware of. Maybe they want little virgin boys as rituals...not sure

The *poop* needs to be concerned about all the atrocities being committed by his church and leave the gay people alone...and he can stick his pointy little head where the sun doesn't shine....
I cannot freakin' believe what Martin S just wrote up there...why is it that when non-christians point out the the OBVIOUS hypocrisy in bible verses we always get told *you're taking it out of context*...you all must like changing things to suit your intentions...it plainly says *DO NOT JUDGE* even some of your own brethren believe that...sheesh!

God gave the Church and the Pope the power, the authority, and the responsibility to teach what is right and what is wrong.
No one has the right to judge anyone to hell, but God.
We are all called to properly discern right from wrong, and good from evil.
Homosexuality is wrong on so many levels, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it's harmful to all those who practice it, and harmful to all the societies which accept it.
The Vatican speaks the truth.

Because they believe the Bible. It's that easy to leave it to the so called teachings of others rather than to think for oneself. Who says that the words in the Bible are correct? There are so many faults and errors; why would a person be guided by an outdated book of supposed counsel to a 'chosen people' rather than to choose to love others and allow them the freedom to choose.

My Atheist boyfriend says it truly is not organic. From a medical point of view, it truly is not. The intercourse area, besides. Marriage is largely a criminal bond and is a comedian tale at present. enable them to marry, they're basically going to get divorced like maximum of in the hetero international. No difference, truly.

Probably because the passage about not judging is taken out of context by unrepentent sinners who only seem to know that verse from the Bible. When Jesus talked about not judging people He was talking about not judging them in a hypocritical and unmerciful way. He wasn't saying that people should just ignore other people who are lost in their sins and say nothing to them about it. When the woman who was caught in adultery was brought before Jesus, after He rescued her from the religious hypocrites who wanted to stone her, Jesus told her that He didn't condemn her but for her to go and sin no more.
Here's what else Jesus said about God's will for the institution of marriage.
Matthew 19:1 Now when Jesus had finished these sayings, he went away from Galilee and entered the region of Judea beyond the Jordan. 2 And large crowds followed him, and he healed them there. 3 And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, "Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?"
4 He answered, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh'? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."
God created men to marry and have sex and produce children with women, end of story.

The Vatican's second-highest ranking doctrinal official has forcefully branded homosexual marriage an evil and denounced abortion and euthanasia as forms of "terrorism with a human face"

Why is it that I'm a cynic? oh..... right.
Sure would be nice to see compassionate actions rather than derogatory words.

The Bible does not say "Thou shalt not judge"
It says "When you judge, be sure you have taken the log out of your own eye before taking the speck out of someone else's eye."
Homosexuality is an abomination and gay marriage is evil.
