I find this insane....... I have never heard of this however I am not sure this is a good thing. Does anyone know? I always thought that no matter where you ran the courts could come get you if there was a warrent.

I guess i should clarify this a bit more.... I was meaning I heard that if you leave ohio and say go to california and ohio issues a felony warrent for you.... I heard they will not go after you unless you are in a neighboring state........ somewhere i read that a guy in california had a felony domestic charge and fled to california and there was a warrent issued by ohio for him adn they could not do anything becuase he was too far away..... this seemed ridculous to me.

Yes Steven... I meant if you had a charge(felony) and you left ohio say moved to texas, would ohio come after you if there was a warrent and bring you back to ohio to face charges... However according to what you said I am understanding that is really doesnt matter because if you went to texas and was stopped,,,, texas could send you back according to the consistution right? Or does Ohio have to request that? This is all soo insane to me i am just glad i am not fleeing from anything LOL

Steven..... According to what i heard california did notify ohio about this man and they were told that ohio would not extradite from that far..... he would of had to been in a neighboring state. this is what has me confused....... I would think a felony domestic could be potentailly dangerous and Ohio would want him back but the way i heard it Ohio can NOT extradite for anything unless a captial crime of course unless the person is found in a neighboring state to ohio.
