never for a moment have i even remotely believed that power is everything , however when on a scene i am the one who is and always will be the one in control , this is not a power trip , it's simply the way it is for my safety

John Wayne goes out the window as soon as you get your first bloody nose in a bar fight. Power aint got a thing to do with it. Police are invested with authority but a person that is power tripping wont even make it on the list at most departments and almost assuredly will never pass the academy. If he has a problem later he will likely be fired.
Now about that little problem of accusing all American police of being power crazy. Where's your proof? You mean we gotta have proof but you dont?

Hi James. Haven't seen you out here in awhile. Glad you are not picking on the 109 Pct anymore. You have moved up to the entire country. That's progress.....Hate to tell you James, but power IS everything when you are a Police Officer.

Americans on the whole believe might makes right, so, yes, obviously their police use such beliefs to their advantage.

Because they were beat up in school, and finally found something that a monkey could do that has power behind it.
