Color. Ab lounge is blue and made of cloth. The ultra was designed to fit into a more exercise oriented, steel industrial room. It is also easier to clean. The only design difference is slight modifications. On the ab lounge, you can put your hands through a strap above your head. Also there is a difference in the footbar--as the ab lounge is for a slightly smaller frame, if you are much taller apparently you could not rest your feet on the bar.
