Hi I'm 12 but It's very easy to get anyones password if their with yahoo.
Go to the sign in page
Click on 'forgot my password'
Enter their birthday
Enter their postcode
In the scroll click which country they live in
And it will take you to another page where it says their secret question
Just enter all the possibilities it could be
P.S. if you do this right, it shouldn't fail. I've done it to my brother, and a few friends - but my friends do it to me as well.

Well I think going in that direction is just going to make the problem worse, she will seriously resent you doing this for this purpose. You needed to use the parental controls on the computer before this problem came along, and I doubt seriously you can do anything to get the password. You can see how parental controls work on your personal computer, assuming it is your computer and she's living with you. I suppose you could go down the road of taking the computer away if she's not willing to comply but yahoo mail can be picked up on any computer. The toothpaste is out of the tube.

Why don't you just ask...no I mean tell your child to give you the password. I think the mother is wrong and if she was to any good, giving you the password to monitor both of your childs interactions would be a parental responsibility.
Print out every lude e-mail.

If it's set to log in automatically..I would just click in and check it..If not maybe you could change the password yourself by possibly knowing the answers to the security questions.(ex. pet's name, mother's maiden name..etc.)If this doesn't work I would delete her as a user altogether including her Yahoo account and re-download everything.

Why would you want her mail? Respect her privacy with her mother. Remember your divorced with the wife an if you persist, it may include your daughter, down the line. If you trust your daughter and need to know about her discussions, then asked.

Ask to see her cool my space page, and then watch the password----second thought have another sibling or cute kid do this for a bribe. Older teen girl could get this done easily

Your daughter will really hate you if she finds out you snooped around in her email...Tell her mother to stop sending emails. Sending sexually explicit email to minors is illegal, so if her mother doesn't stop you can contact the police.

If it is set to log on automatically, change it and YOU be in charge of the account. If she has a problem with that, take away her comp privileges.
