I agree, not to many smart enough to realize scripture states Russia will begin this.I think the anti-Christ may come from the
middle east,but it is close.

I do not believe that the church (born again believers in Christ) will be here to see the rise of the antichrist. The bible says that there is a "hindering force" holding back the rise to power of this man. Many bible scholars think this is the work of the holy spirit within Christians. When the church is taken out of the world, this will allow the rise to power of the antichrist. I don't know where he's coming from, and I won't be around, thankfully....to find out. I do believe though, that he may be alive right at this moment.

Yes, he will come on the scene soon, but not from Russia if my memory serves. I remember him coming out of what was the old roman empire. I would say, look at a map of the old roman empire and which countries were in it, then look up all the details to that prophecy and you can get a general idea where he will come from. If you believe in the rapture, you won't be here to see it if it happens that way.

While I personally hope for the rapture of the church, I will not be swayed if God doesn't do it that way, I see what is happening and trust He will keep his word. I do not pretend I understand it all, if I did I wouldn't be here now.

Some regard this passage as predicting the anit-Christ will be Jewish;"Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all" Daniel 11:37

Jesus hinted that the Antichrist would be Jewish by his statement "I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him" John 5:43

Others believe that he was Roman. I do not find anything to suggest he will come out of Russia.
