It's an issue for any one who goes against their "norm". Maybe it's just because they love you, are concerned about you, and are intolerant. I try not to mess with other ppls belief systems when it's serious and largely try to be supportive ...but sometime my humor brings out the other side of me when it comes to Christianity. But that's really more about me than them.

I was raised Christian but had 2 free-thinking Grandmother's and a Great Grandfather that influenced me. So I didn't just accept everything I was told. I keep my beliefs largely to myself. Christianity was the spring board, but now I accept all faiths. I've attended all types of worship services of many faiths and totally accept agnostic and atheist beliefs as well.

If I keep working on it, maybe one day like M. Gandhi, I might be able to say my religion was Kindness. I have a very long way to go.

I am an atheist because I do not believe in any power higher than myself. But then again... I am the solar deity Ra, who has power over life and death and created the universe after spontaneously growing myself out of an egg. I guess that's pretty powerful.

I told my mom but she doesn't believe me. I keep it to myself at work because I have been harrassed and discriminated against in the past and because my (non)religious beliefs are nobody's business. My friends all know and are cool with it - even the christian ones.

I'm agnostic, but no. My parents raised me as Catholics, but they accepted my choice of beliefs.
I wish more people in the world could be like them.

my mother will just yell at me and try to force me to believe like all other Christians - that's why me and my fiance stopped believing because - we are realists - and also that's what Christians do they freak out if you don't believe and they corner you and want to talk you into stuff and not let everyone do what makes them happy they are all Hippocrates(spelling), but i don't care what everyone believes as long as they are happy - i look at it like people judging gays - who cares!! lol let it be!!
