Well, I'm no longer Christian, and I don't think I need "salvation". I think people who think they are evil sinners (no matter what they actually DO) have low self-esteem.

Some of the more extreme religious people remind me of battered wives: they blame themselves for everything bad that happens, and they keep trying to grovel to their god, hoping he'll take them back and not hurt them this time.

The Lord’s Harvest is a process of sowing the Word, refining, cleaning, sifting, purification, and separation.

We are sinners. Thank God for the process of Salvation.

Obviously if we need salvation we feel like we aren't what we ought to be and that we are letting go of arrogance and embracing humility. At least that is how it was and is for me. I can only speak for me.

It assumes that we are already doomed to an unpleasant afterlife. Therefore I am a worthless, useless human being with no business being on gods planet, but thankfully I don't agree with any of that nonsense.
