If it costs more to make without it, I am sure most people would be willing to pay the slight difference.

And to those who make idiotic claims like "everything that tastes good has trans-fat" you are dead wrong. Adding partially hydrogenated oil DOES NOT contribute to taste!

Of course pizza doesn't have to contain it, but it depends on where you get it. It does cost more to make it without it and these pizzerias don't want to pay for the better stuff. They jack up the prices and we end up paying more money for stuff that's going to clog up our arteries. These days I just make my own when I can. It's much healthier the way I do it.

In february this year Domino's has become the first major fast-food chain to ban trans fats from all its products.
I have not felt a price increase. So, let's go Domino's.

Pizza contains trans fat because of the cheese and possibly the meat that is on the pizza.

I would definately be willing to pay more for a more health consious pizza, but I guess most of the nation isnt. Its sad, I know.
