if you go to war when your 18 can you get reassigned when you are 60? How much money are we spending on war. can you be reassainged to war at anytime during your life? Your input is greatly appreciated.

Grace Hopper was recalled to active duty at the age of 61. She then left 4 years later, and was recalled again a few years after that. Retired permanently at the age of 80.

By reassigned to war, do you mean sent to a different war while still active duty? If so, yes.... Dad was in Korea and Nam. One at the beginning of his career and one at the end. And current active duty folks are constantly redeploying into the war zone or in support of the war.

It will have to be one hell of a war to recall someone who is 60. During WWII we had volunteers of all ages, but not active duty, I don't believe.

IF the U.S. reinstates the draft, people could get called up again, but only up to a certain age and way younger than 60.

At the age of 60 you would have already retired so you would be at home. Until you retire or are discharged you can be assigned any where.
