yes a females period is like being in heat---whether we like it or not humans are a type of mammal and even though it is alittle more complicated for us to be defined the way animals like cats and dogs do, what with higher intelligence and all, it can't be denied that we have the same physical strutures and needs as the most primate of animals: however alot of women are emotional on thier period or they think the blood is gross so the natural primative desires become repressed due to our "higher intellegence"

Lmao...Sort of. Dogs go into heat and give off a scent to attract male dogs. Women's bodies do something similar. Women's bodies prepare for mating on a monthly basis and at that time give off pheramones that are ment to attract men. That is the period between ovulation and menstruation. Although dogs and women cycle differently, it's generally the same concept.

If "heat" is defined as sexually receptive then human females are ALWAYS in heat. Well except right after the significant other came home late, complained about the supper and so on .........

No. And a period is not a form of heat because during a period you dont want sexual activity.

As a mater of fact yes. Once a month we call it a period. It is basely the same thing just not as intense.
