Her politics aside, Rosie has been nothing but a negative, vile monster. She is obviously off whatever meds she was put on after 9/11. Her latest putrid rant occured Matrix Awards honoring New York’s prominent women in the media, held Monday afternoon at Manhattan’s Waldorf-Astoria. Among the attendees were 17 high school girls who won scholarship to pursue careers in the media. Rosie chose this moment to use the F-word and ended a rant about Donald Trump by grabbing her crotch and shouting, "Eat me!” What a vulgar P-I-G! If my daughter was present - I'd sue! Barbara Walters "lowered her head on the dais and covered her face with her hand” when Rosie dropped the F-bomb. I did feel sorry for Barbara Walters when Rosie started her rants on the view --always such a dignified lady....but if she puts up with this........she has lost my respect.

I used to be a big fan of Rosie, and I recall that when she had her talk show she was known as the Queen of Nice. I admired her for her persistence in trying to change laws regarding the adoption of children by gay couples in the state of Florida. Lately, she's become some completely different person. I saw clips of her rant at the Matrix Awards on the news and I was embarrassed for her. She was so vulgar and inappropriate. This is no example of how a woman (or a man, for that matter) should behave in a public forum. Sad, sad, sad.

I feel that Rosie has no respect for Barbara, her other costars on the view, or herself, much less her viewers. She has the option readily available to behave in a more professional manner by just not arguing with Donald, or by saying she will not comment. The girls at the awards probably see that type of childish, immature behavior routinely at school. What they need to see is that a mature, professional adult doesn't behave that way.
I have stopped watching the View. I don't see how it can stay on much longer. Barbara made an error in judgment when she went with Rosie. I hope she rectifies her mistake soon, before her show is destroyed.

Since her show got the axe she has been gotten very full of herself. Ranting her agenda and acting like she is the authority on everything. I thought I had the right to believe what I believe in as well? But that doesn't give me the right to shove it down peoples throats. I wonder what she is teaching her kids. As a mom herself she should have been more respectful of the young girls at that event. Yes, she is a comedian but she wasn't at a bar doing her act. She was hosting at an awards event to promote women in the media.
The few times I have watched the View since she has been on I have been so turned off. She talks over everyone else and shows them no respect. I wonder if Barbara is just waiting out Rosie's contract but I would think she would have plenty of grounds to fire her. She has weakend Barbara's creditability in my eyes. Rosie is far worse that Star ever was.

I hate to disagree with you but with Rosie gone from the View, I will no longer watch it. I didn't watch it before Rosie was on. Sure she is opinionated but as she has said many times, the show is called the View.

I think Barbara Walters should thank Rosie for the ratings.

My husband said that Rosie is a very intelligient woman and I could not agree more..

SHe hasn't doen anything to me personally. I was offended about the whole Star Jones thing (even though I don't watch The View) but didn't blame Rosie.

I think she needs to apologize to the 9/11 victims and Asian people.

Donald is a womanizing butthead. Rosie should apologize to him for saying he was bankrupt but nothing else. He already has taken enough mean stabs at her to pay for whatever else she said.

I heard she has some other theories on stuff and she should apologize for them too.

She should also be careful. I can't believe the producers aren't looking for a way to get rid of her.

And she figures so prominently to other heterosexuals in the GLT movement that she should set an example for others.

Barbara Walters is probably furious. I heard she was, but I don't know her so I don't know.

I think any trouble with Ms. Walters is comeuppance for how she treated Star, in what was a minor feud she could have patched up.

But whatever...

For whatever reason, Rosie has appointed herself the moral compass of America. She has no cooth, grace or social skills. I am happy that her program is on while children are at school (although I cannot imagine my 6 year old wanting to watch the view).

Why would this loud mouthed woman care how other people behave or treat other people. She is concerned and very boistrous about her issues - like when Kelly Rippa did not want to shake Clay Aiken's hand. Of all of the issues to choose to fight on national television, this should not have been one of them. Donald Trump is another enemy of hers that I cannot understand. I believe that she chooses to fight high profile issues because she feels as though she is not getting as much attention as she would like.

She professes to be such a good mother to her children, I can only hope that she is not so loud around them as she is in public.

The ladies on the view (except for Rosie) express their opinions in a way that is either serious or funny and that is entertaining. This was a very good program until Rosie joined, it did not take long for me to quit watching it. I agree that Barbara Walters is a wonderful person but, at what point will she just have enough of Rosie. It would be a shame for the View is be taken off of the air because of a loud mouthed, bitter and obviously unmedicated sad excuse of a woman.

I used to enjoy watching her talk show and always watched the view. Rosie has changed since her talk show went off the air and not for the better. Did Barbra think by adding Rosie to the view that she would finally get the emmy she wants so bad? If so then I think it blew up in her face. The View will never get an emmy as long as Rosie is on it. If she stays on the show then I wouldn't be surprised to see it go off the air. I'm sure Star is sitting back with her mouth shut (unlike Rosie) thinking "I told you so Barbara". Yes Barbara is a dignified lady but no I don't feel sorry for her when Rosie shows herself on the view. She did this to herself. Like my mom used to say "you make your bed you lay in it"

Rosie will no longer be on the view as of June 2007. I thought she brought a little life to an otherwise boring show, their ratings went up to.

TV magnate's only concern is ratings, the days of respectable actors, actresses and celebrities with class are long gone, today's celebrity people in the news are all about how much of an azz they made of themselves the day before,Rosie just happen to be the worst of the lot
with her antics Rosie has actually made Donald Trump the nice person and that is saying a lot

Well it seems we will have to put up with her until June. The word says that she and ABC could not agree to contractual terms...I would think that if ABC really really really wanted her they would agree to anything to keep her. So maybe they are tired of her also. I knew something was up when they had not already renewed her contract which is up at the end of May. Not sure where she will end up after all this is over. Hopefully not on another TV show where she has any influence on our children! Let her stay at home and swear at her children...leave ours alone Rosie!
