I was wondering....you know, since christians first realized that God created adam and Eve naked. When Adam sin he realized he was naked, why is being naked such a big sin? why is it in today's society immoral to show skin? i think its best if everyone became aware that sex is not such a big big deal, its a commitment, but i feel people think of it...in a box. Also sexuality is something people seem to have a strong belief with....is belief the cause for today's problems? i would like to think so.

Even if you;'re not christian, people still EXPECT you to act a certain way....the christian way. I feel if a man choose to have more than 1 wives, it shouldn't be considered soo bizarre. Neither if a person choose to have a relationship with the same sex...maybe i'm just above the typical mentality, or below. Either way i feel its kinda need some atttention

It might be a mistake to ask the question in this thread, since i know most people are sinked into the ground with brainwash

there are some things that are expected of us by society, usually these are for the common good.

But there are some things that are so self destructive that they are condemned by all thinking people.

Multiple wives and same-sex intercourse are two of these behaviors that are inherently self destructive. Ask your life insurance agent about the morbidity rates for gays and for people with multiple sex partners. The numbers are significantly higher than for the general population. Their life expectancy is much lower than that of the general population.

Enlightened self interest should deter people from gay behaviours. A couple of years ago there was a posting to gay websites about "Ten Things a Gay Man Should Ask His Doctor," and "Ten Things a Lesbian Should Ask her Doctor." These are some of the things that chastity prevents!

Enlightened self interest should stop multiple sex partners. There are numerous diseases that are ONLY communicated through the acts that the Bible calls sin.

Whatever you may think of a loving God who as a benevolent person cares for His children, you should love yourself, your spouce, and your children enough to exercise self control.

I didn't read the whole thing but Adam being ashamed of nakedness was a metaphor for him being exposed to God. Naked before God. You know the revelation that one is not what they thought they were and that God has known you all along. Misinterpretations and believing wrongly or that you should force your beliefs onto others is the problem. You oppressing and oppressed. Go ahead and have as many wives as you want but if you were my husband you wouldn't have time or energy. Ask him if you don't believe him.

Yes very condescending, but otherwise true. I think the women have the hardest time coping with it, and the men are too afraid to draw it out of them. Romanticize with two women and see what happens. My guess, it'll get annoying before it gets better.

I constantly resented the pee-pee doo-doo mentality of a few human beings approximately intercourse. mutually as though would possibly not tutor to be a LTR, greater suitable than happy and gratifying relationships can revolve around it on my own. that's the way that one may be closest to a distinctive person in shared extacy. What might desire to be greater helpful? mutually as i don't experience that committment might desire to sidestep experimenting with different companions, I might desire to declare that for me marriage might desire to be monogomous and all intercourse might desire to contain actual appreciate and gratitude between the companions. in simple terms an opinion.

Ummm... Well, we are "obliged to follow" for species survival.

But "doctrine" hardly applies. ... And people do not expect me to act in "the Christian way" - what's that even mean???
