I am in a new relationship...been exclusive with each other for about two months...we have not had sex yet because I wanted to take it slow...we have spent time kissing and cuddling and both admit it just feels right between us. I have fears and have always been scared to love because of some huge past hurts. Anyway I noticed I have no concentration, think about him ALOT....but when I sometimes think of him I have a burning feeling in my chest. I keep trying to refocus and keep my feet on the ground and focus on who he is as a person so I dont get carried away with the whole fantasy thing. Has anyone felt a burning in their chest before...I dont know what it is...

I don't know what the burning in the chest is but for the most part , just take it slow. Two months is not that long at all if your considering sex. Ha , well atleast not to some people. Listen to yourself , no one can tell you when YOUR ready for sex.

Seriously , don't listen to these assholes in this forum telling you you need to put-out because they dump girls if they don't get what they want and split. Guys like that should get castrated for being such disgusting assholes.

ahhhh!!!!! 2 months is so new... that is call the new relationship feeling. the butterfies in your stomach and estatic everytime you touch... that is a very good feeling. but i dont think it is quite love just yet. esp when you guys havent has sex yet it make you curious about the other person. it is probably lust but that doesn't mean that it cant grow into something more. just enjoy what you have now. it is rare that feelings like that will last forever in a relationship. take it one day at a time. and have fun. good luck

Actually you are quite smitten or infatuated. The newness of any relationship has anyone in a whirlwind. Yes you get a feeling in your chest. You are very absorved with him .. I caution you to take it slow.. your feelings will be seen and if ur to eager you are showing your vulnerable so be careful. enjoy it and good luck and yes go slow. By the way it takes time more than a couple months to grow into love with someone.

sounds like you are falling in love with this guy.....
love does hurt sometimes and it comes with alot of risks and if you don't takes risks, there is a good chance that you won't be happy. lifes too short so i say just go with it.

you don't need to punish this guy for past relationships gone wrong. every person is different.
if you are happy with him, then make the most of it, it's rare to have those feelings.

as for the burning in the heart..iv'e never had that feeling, but i have had flutters when iv'e been in love with a person.

i hope it all works out for you :)

A burning in the chest, sounds like love to me. Lust usually burns elsewhere in the body. According to the Word of God there is nine traits to love: love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Please notice there is no mention of sex in those nine traits. If someone says to you, "if you love me you will sleep with me," than I suggest you run away from that person, because he or she does not know the meaning of love. Sex is reserved for a married man and a woman; no exceptions. Please do not have premarital sex, I promise if you wait you will never regret it.

i think of a lot of human beings now a days fall into lust yet they'd somewhat call it love... Like childrens asserting i such as you after a week of relationship, so dumb. i think of they'd love being with them like putting out sensible, yet will in no way love them except they keep asserting it then they'll in all possibility fall into love with their companion... so which you're able to desire to respond to your question, i think of many will in no way totally love till they understand the which ability of lust.

Oh you get these sensations when love is new. For me it was a fluttering in the stomach.

Anyone ever notice that those first feelings of love would be considered illness under other circumstances?

It could be love or lust...Seriously, I think you need more time to tell. If it's lust, it'll fade away in a short amount of time. Love will last!

Good luck!

it's okay to have that lust feeling when you're in love cause it's just natural i tell you that i do it's really okay

it's just shows that he is the one that you want and the only person that you felt like that before
