"Cut friend" if you were single for a long time instead of waiting on a relationship? ("cut friend" being somebody who you would only have relations with and no relationship) Would that friend fill the void that being without a relationship is causing? Have you had this situation before? If so, how did or is it working out?

It won't work out for very long. You'll start to get emotionally attatched to them and then yearn for more. Might as well just wait it out until you find a new relationship.

i have had one relationship like that....and the truth is that everyone makes mistake there first time with everything. you live and you learn. everyone situation is different. mine is that i end up with a really good friend. we loved each other before we shack up together... the truth is that you will not climb into bed with someone you are not attracted to and attraction grows into feelings. if you dont see anything with this friend save yourself the trouble and avoid the situation.... i am now my good friend gf but if we ever break up we will no longer be friends. we talk about it and sometime we feel like it would of been better if we had just stuck to being friends. it was fun while it lasted but eventually one or the other will want more. and sometimes more is just not one or the other can give. so think about it. there is 2 people feelings involve here. be wise. good luck

Is that like a "friend with benefits?"

I suppose it could fill a void but only temporarily. Some people are content with being single, but I don't think sleeping around is the way to go.

No, I wouldn't be willing to settle for that. This would be like having serial one-night-stands.

These are the women who end up on "Maury Povich" not being able to identify who their childrens' fathers are, and being called "ho" by the guys who were more than willing to sleep with them.

usually one person will end up falling in love and the other wont. Unless you dont talk other then the actual act, your going to end up in some kind of relationship where things will get...sticky.

Friends with benifits?

Doesn't work. Eventually someone starts having feelings.

Sorry.
