I'v been thinking lately on how to cheat the U.S. post office and i think i figured out a way...........if you are trying to mail something but you dont have stamps, and you purposely write the address you want to send to as the return address......so when they see that you didnt put a stamp on it they will send it to the address you want to send to and you save a stamp............Has anyone tried this and will it work ?????????

That type of mail fraud is a federal crime. Just remember that federal incarceration comes with no chance of parole. I hope you're not too pretty.

It will arrive at the recipient as postage due. This means that the reciever must pay for the postage. Also, the USPS sees this a lot, so the letter itself may never make it to the destination.

Very clever! Haven't tried it, and won't attempt. But your question was, if it is FRAUD. I guess cheating the system is called FRAUD. So, yes.

This is not a new idea. Have you heard, stamps are ONLY 39 cents!!! Don't be cheap.

Usually the people at the other end have to pay for it.Its not a good idea.

WHY do you want to cheat the usps? are you a disgruntled worker or something? but that sounds like a clever idea, good luck
