Is DNA real when it's used to convict criminals, but unreal when it's used to show the evolutionary similarities between primates?

Interesting how it seems to work that way isn't it. DNA does not change no matter it's usage. If you can find a child's parent or grandparent using it, it can be used to find your ancestors too. Genealogists have been doing DNA lines for years both patrilineal and matrilineal.

Human beings are essentially animals - sentient ones - so it stands to reason we would have genetic similarities to others in the animal kingdom like us.

Besides, similar isn't concrete evidence of anything other than the fact that primates and humans, along with tons of other animal groups, share common DNA. Go figure!

Don't confuse the creationists with DNA. They'll start talking to you about information can't be added to DNA without understanding things like frame shift mutation that insert proteins into the middle of the DNA strand.

The thing that really annoys me is that there are creationist spin doctors out there who take it upon themselves to write articles and web pages that try to at the very least cast doubt on any branch of science that conflicts with their beliefs. Knowledge has a powerful opposite - blank denial. This is what creationists use but they try to hide it behind nonsense and pseudo-logic.

It's good support to a theory, but it doesn't disprove God. And until someone does that, people will still believe in Him.

Also: when we convict criminals, it's a 100% match.
