Contact a dachsund rescue group: http://dachshund-rescue.org/

They will concentrate on finding your discarded pet a loving home instead of recouping money you wasted on a poor decision.

What he didn't come as the perfect never makes a mistake already housetrained dog you'd expected.

If you got him from a responsible breeder, they'll take him back. Otherwise find a doxie rescue and turn him over to them so they can find a home that won't think he's a rip off, and will love and train him.

And for the love of god, don't get another dog. It probably won't be what you expect either. Because you know those beautifully trained wonderful dogs you probably thought you were going to get, TOOK TIME AND EFFORT FROM CARING OWNERS TO GET THAT WAY. You apparently don't have the time and effort it takes to put into to a dog. You've only had it for 2 weeks and you're already giving it up. Pretty sad and irresponsible if you ask me.

You know you've only had it 3months that's not enough time to train a puppy they all take time and patience it doesn't happen over night. Maybe if you could get some books and read up on them you'd understand them more.I have a 4yr old and i wouldn't trade him for anything he's the joy of my life.were inseperaterable. Good luck

Did you do any research on them? Like I said to someone else "Not all of those dogs fit to the 'norm' of their breed'
