negative..
You cant learn how a healer he is if he didn't have to heal you.
You cant learn how mighty he is if something powerful is not opposing you and he rescues you..
our faith is made strong through our weaknesses.

God does not will that we suffer but he does allow us to suffer, but he does not allow us to suffer anymore than we can handle. We are allowed to suffer so that we may see a better way, We are allowed free will so there are time that we make bad decisions and we allowed to suffer though those time however long those times may seem. Trust in the Lord and you will accomplish all things
Suffers also allow us to grow in the Lord.Think about it for a few minutes, In order to get stronger we must workout and when we do we get sore so you could say we are suffering in a sense

Suffering comes from the CONFLICT between Good and Evil!
God by His Permissive will, allows Suffering. Perhaps you should read JOB, Chapters 1 - 2 - 3 and you will have your Answer!
ALSO.... Here in the Chapter of Faith, you will read this!
(Hebrews 11:36-to-40) And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings; yes, more, of bonds and imprisonments.
(Heb 11:37) They were stoned, they were sawed in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented.
(Heb 11:38) The world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains and dens and caves of the earth.
(Heb 11:39) And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, did not receive the promise,
(Heb 11:40) for God had provided some better thing for us, that they should not be made perfect without us.
Thanks, RR

God will use suffering to stretch us and make us stronger - sometimes we bring suffering on ourselves and sometimes He will bring it to us
remember when Jesus went to the desert to fast and meditate for 40 days but then also to be tempted - He was lead by the Spirit - that would be the Holy Spirit - so the Spirit led Him to suffering - I'm sure He does the same for us

No he does not, he loves us, we just need to come to him and give our worries up to him so he can help us. Doing things without God can cause suffering, but with God things are so much better, not saying stuff doesn't happen, but it's not as bad

The clearest example of suffering in Scripture is found is Psalm 119. Notice the progression through verses 67, 71, and 75 - "Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word...It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees...I know, O LORD, that your laws are righteous, and in faithfulness you have afflicted me." The author of Psalm 119 was looking at suffering from God's perspective. It was good for him to be afflicted. It was faithfulness that caused God to afflict him. The result of the affliction was so that he could learn God's decrees and obey His Word.

Yes. In God's plan we need to learn joy and to choose his way.
Learning involves choice, choice requires opposition. If life were easy for the righteous and torture for the sinner, then there obviously is no choice. The fact is good and bad things happen to everyone. Life is not full of clear cut choices between good and evil, pleasure and pain. The real learning has occured when we know to choose to do what's right even when it isn't easy.

This is the Truth, Alex : God does not MAKE any human suffer. by "suffer" i'm assuming you mean bodily / mental discomfort? if you are unfortunate to find yourself afflicted by this, it could be a TEST of your faith (a test to YOURSELF). Most "suffering" is self-inflicted by allowing Satan to come into your world, often innocuously. God gave man his only Son, that he may suffer for the benefit of all mankind......
take care & love all.............

How can you ever truly appreciate the good days if you don't have any bad days?
That's what I think every time I get sick with the flu.
Those who "suffer" I have great sympathy for. I wish we didn't have to. But, it's too late to spit out the bite of apple.

I don't think so. The bible says he takes no pleasure in allowing us to suffer just as a parent doesn't want to have to discipline their child. I think he allows it so that we can learn from it and grow spiritually. He only allows suffering in order to help us and help others. We aren't able to see just how our suffering helps but you have to trust that that's why he lets it happen.

No, but He does allow it, for God works everything together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8 v 28
We can see the small picture, but God has the finished one.
