Yes, it does!
There is significant evidence now that Jesus Christ Rose from the dead. The Bible makes perfect sense! It's about a rescue plan, which includes that God created the world, and man, that man sinned, and so sin was passed on to every person by way of a sinful nature. God sent His Son Jesus Christ to make a way where there was no way, to become a sacrifice for us, and a response is demanded.

We all have a conscience, we all have personality. Where did this come from? Why do people naturally call out to God when they are in trouble? We are all unique! All these things show that there was plan and purpose for mankind. We were created by God, for God, to have a relationship with Him.

To believe otherwise does not make sense.
Also, God's Word the Bible, keeps proving itself to be true.
Many prophecies have been fulfilled, and God's Word is living and active - it transforms lives, - it is unlike any other book! All down through the centuries, God's Word has changed and transformed lives - there are billions of testimonies of this.

I don't think faith is the right word. Both believers and non-believers have a number of reasons why they are naturally predisposed towards their view. There is cognitive dissonance for those closer to the middle, where their view has not been sufficient to answer questions or experiences in their life. So there is restlessness and reconsidering. But I don't think either view takes the same set of data and picks a side, having more or less confidence. Basic beliefs don't work like this.

It is like having the swim thingies on your arm! you feel more safe when you tread water! when some one loses them though they have to be strong and depend on their own ability not to go under! atheists have a great advantage over religious ppl! they do not need an imaginary friend to lean on and hope things will work out !

THEY JUST MAKE THINGS WORK FOR THEMSELVES AND SUCCEED!

It does take more faith in oneself, to stand basically alone, declare oneself a minority, and face a lot of pressure.

I never thought it took much faith to believe in truth.

IMO no... because eventually that which we take on "faith" we must examine, analytically, and come to the same conclusions of logical or it's illogical.
