YES! I believe that a person has every right to have whatever symbol they choose for their headstone!!
An NO the Satanic Beliefs are NOT a part of Wicca/Witchcraft, that is a "old wives tale" started within the Christian Belief System...Wiccans/Witches do NOT believe in Satan nor does he exist!!
Satanism is considered the Left-Handed Path to most Wiccans/Witches...an this religion does NOT fall in the Paganism section it's a religion all its own!!
An "students" of the Craft or young Wiccans are taught NOT to follow the Left-Handed Path, but they are taught to 'respect' it as with ANY other religion!!

I'm happy that Wiccan service members can have the sign of their religion on their tombstone. Everyone else was able to have it, I'm glad that now Wiccans can too.

I'm delighted by the news that the VA finally did the right thing. It's a victory for all who believe in religious freedom. Kudos to all those who steadfastly stood up for their rights and the rights of Americans of the Wiccan faith who wear the uniform and defend our nation's interests. No doubt, without your efforts, the VA would have stonewalled indefinitely.

i'm neither Wiccan or Christian yet in my opinion i think of it is going to be all or none. If some little ones get to positioned on their image of their faith then all scholars might desire to be waiting to. in case you do not want particular little ones to positioned on it - regardless if that's discrimination or not - then none might desire to positioned on it. many colleges and fogeys for that rely make the blunders of questioning that Wicca isn't a faith yet as a substitute a passing fad. They forget approximately that the preferrred court ruled that Wicca grew to become right into a recognizable faith and could be afforded all the comparable rights and liberities as different wide-unfold faiths. And do you comprehend that there are nonetheless communities, many Christians, attempting to locate a thank you to overturn or undo that verdict because of fact they can't stand to think of that Wicca is a faith. unhappy. those colleges would be in for a impolite awakening whilst considered one of them finally gets sued for discrimination. that's what it incredibly is. particularly some colleges, because of fact the accepted public faith right this is Christian, are run via Christians who take their faith into public places and picture that all of us might desire to have their faith and supply up ours. as long because of fact the Wicca symbols are interior of gown code, and not garish i don't see a topic. I even have examine although that some colleges are so backwards that they actually not basically think of that the pentagram is Satanic (it grew to become into as quickly as used via Christians even to signify the injuries of Christ long earlier it grew to become into used via Wiccans) yet that it might deliver undesirable success and curses down on the school! i did not comprehend that they stoped coaching technology and rational concept in school.

I think people should be free to express their chosen faith. I am just glad the symbol is not a picture of a fat hairy behind.

Yes. I believe anyone who has served their country has the right to their symbol of belief on their permanent memorial. My father, a christian and a Korean War Veteran, says it's been too long in coming.
