People give god all the credit so that they look humble in the eyes of other people. Taking credit yourself is an act of pride and will make you look bad to others. It's total social conditioning. In the past, a great hero was expected to come in to the village and boast about his great deeds. It made people happy and feel secure knowing that the tribe had a mighty king. These days we hate a confident, boastful person. We even hate successful people, boastful or not. That's why there are so many tabloids.

I often find myself unwilling to display my greatness because I don't want to make myself a target of jealousy and ridicule. As a witch, I was taught that the power is my own -- I can't give god credit, because I'm god. The people who grovel to god with their faces on the ground -- that's terrible. I do not grovel to my friend God, anymore than I would grovel to my dentist. Nonetheless, I have done great things in this world, and while I won't give the credit to god, I will certainly share credit. Most of the time, nobody gets the credit. I cast my spell, do my magic, and simply sit back and watch. Sometimes I will reveal that it was me, especially if I've done something really funny. But most of the time I'm happy when I hear, "Oh thank you god," when my spell comes to fruition, and i leave it at that. I know what I did and god knows what I did. That's enough for me.

YES you are right !Actually it is wrong thing to give credit or dis credit to GOD for anything done personally or in group! In fact there is NO GOD !We do this because by doing this individual EGO don't take the sit !IT is who kills their individual EGO they are the best people so who will not desire to be? When we believe in LUCK than automatically we believe in some superior things like ALMIGHTY !what ever you do today will be your luck tomorrow !LIFE IS A GAME OF CHANCE AND CHOICE !How you got a chance to become HUMAN we really don't know !But we have a chance to live as HUMAN !Sympathy and LOVE should always be there for good human life ahead so for a reason we don't become EGOISTIC we always give credit for our good work to other but because we dont feel to appreciate others work we jump on this GOD !WE choose GOD for this !We want to show other people that GOD is with me !|Take care Always YouRsmE

Behind every 'great accomplishment' is the subtle contribution of other persons. Would Albert Einstein have made great accomplishment without the gentle effort of his elementary school teachers, for example? So giving God credit is a way of humility. But then you find that such humility begets more accomplishment.

God gets credit where credit is due. He's thanked for making the soul with the abilities, and or providing supernatural assistance. Also, since He made the body, it's good let Him know you appreciate it working properly even when it shouldn't be (like a person has cancer yet they feel no pain).

it also helps keep pride levels down. getting full of himself was Satan's first mistake, so it's a bad idea to follow.

does that answer your question?

Jesus himself said that humans will one day reach the point of downloading the creator's mind as their own.

The ego is the ant which we pay attention to becuase we believe that it is more powerful. The sun is still shining, but the ant hides under a leaf and even makes us believe that it has put out the sun!! All there is love (or christ's light activity) which permeates all things. Even the ego is loaned to it energy from the GOD-self "within." Here is a great quote which gives supporting evidence:

Ephesians 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by light: FOR WHATSOEVER DOTH MAKE MANIFEST IS LIGHT.

That's not necessarily true. God isn't "always given the credit". Most people in popular culture don't associate with any religion, but people who do usually follow the logic "I was created by God and all things come from God."

I give God the "credit" for allowing me the opportunity and the ability to accomplish things. I give myself "credit" for doing them and using my abilities in the best way that I can.

there are various training that we are able to basically learn by way of the Lord. I even have had some 'troublesome' issues executed to me by utilising landlords and would-be buddies. This merely made me stronger. i know now that regardless of a guy or woman is to me, is what they have been once I first met them. human beings have their agendas. that is as much as you and me to ascertain by way of them. If what those individuals are doing is o.k., then all is superb. If not, we ought to continually promptly circulate faraway from them. There are 'no excuses' as human beings intentionally do what's 'proper for themselves' and not us. remember this and you will stay efficient. once I stumbled on my homestead in an unpredicted fireplace, the yank crimson bypass got here to the rescue. They positioned me and my kinfolk in a inn, gave my kinfolk outfits and provided my nutrition till they stumbled on stable housing for me. Then they gave us furniture vouchers which provided us with enormously respectable furniture. don't be bashful approximately getting this help. that is there for you. remember this, What we would desire to then say to those issues? If GOD be for us, WHO could be against us? - Romans 8:31 The Lord on a daily basis loadeth us with reward, even the GOD of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm sixty 8:19 I want you ongoing Peace!

People can take credit for their credits, talents and accomplishments, and they should. They should be proud of themselves when they reach a goal or do good works.

However, a lot of people thank God, because he is the one that gave them their lives, their minds and their talents that they use to accomplish their goals. If it weren't for him, they would not be who he made them to be. So they are thankful, as they should be.
