james, who let you out of your jail cell to allow you access to the internet? even my 3 yr old cat could come up with something better to say than the lame 'comment' you made.
anyway, to answer the question, yes, i can live without my cell phone for a week, even longer. let's turn yours off and see how long you can stand it. :o)

Yes. I used to live with only land line phones up until about 5 years ago.
And in those 5 years, I've been without one for a whole 2 months and was just fine.

I don't spend much time chatting needlessly, or texting, so I could probably do without my cell for a week.
There would have to be one exception: if I'm in an emergency situation (for example, I've just been bitten by a cobra), I should be able to use the phone to call for help.

Funny, but I don't think I can. I didn't have a cell phone for the first 28 years of my life, but now I feel nervous without it. It's like insurance.

I never owned a cell phone, so yes, I can go without one for a whole week, and for the rest of my life. I think they are obnoxious (and sometimes the people who use them)

I've been doing it for 2 years actually. I have discovered that is nothing but a waste of money and a constant aggravation. I rather enjoy being able to do things like fishing and having a life outside of work without somebody hounding me to come in to save their *** from their own incompetence.

truthfully, no! I feel safer having my cell phone with me at all times, even on vacation. I talk on my cell way too much. I even use it in my house when I can't find my house phone fast enough.

I wish more people would, I have little interest in other peoples conversations but at times I'm bombarded with them. You know whats funny? watch some guy with blue tooth ear piece walking around looking like an idiot talking to himself. .
