So... I've been told that "the sting of death is sin". Now correct me if I've misinterpreted, but this must mean that the presence of sin in the world is what leads to death, which further indicates that the presence of sin directly inflicts the cause of death.

Am I right? Does the presence of sin in the world cause malignant tumors to grow?

The Bible says: “Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.” (Romans 5:12)
Adamic sin—the sin of the first man, Adam—is the cause of the inbred imperfections of the human race.
By using lies and trickery, Satan the Devil caused Adam and Eve to disobey God. (Genesis 2:17; 3:6) As a result, they eventually died, as God had said they would if they disobeyed. (Genesis 3:17-19) Since Adam became imperfect when he sinned, all his offspring inherited sin from him. (Romans 5:12) The situation might be illustrated with a pan used for baking bread. If the pan has a dent in it, what happens to each loaf of bread made in the pan? Each loaf has a dent, or an imperfection, in it. Similarly, each human has inherited a “dent” of imperfection from Adam. That is why all humans grow old and die.—Romans 3:23.

Sin brings death and destruction.Every bad ting diseases, wars, faminies, earthquakes all these are the affects of sin.Yes the sting of death is sin.1 corintians 15:55-57 says "The sting of death is sin,and the power of sin is law but thanks be to GOD he gives us victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST".Yes GOD broke the power of death and sin through JESUS death on cross. No longer has death power over us neither sin. When we become GOD child its an end to the power of death and sin.Even if we die this earthly life we will live for ever with GOD.

Yes sin causes sometimes diseases. But Isaiah 53:5 says "By JESUS stripes we are healed".so JESUS already bore stripes for your healing.

U no longer has to worry about the sting of sin because its power is gone.

GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.

John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved and u will surely know the answer in heaven if not earth.

No, there are proofs. It is a tool people can use to take advantage of you by using your conscience.

Radiation causes cancer according to the linear hypothesis, 25 Siemens or radiation will cause one cancer.

Of course 25 Siemens will kill you immediately from radiation poisoning but if you give 25 people one Siemens of radiation one will die of cancer. If you give 25 thousand people one milli-Siemens (1/1000) one will die of cancer and so on. So it is random and not a persons guilt.

But this argument is dangerous, it can be used to declare innocence. So PG&E poisoned the water with hexavalent chromium and half a town dies of cancer. But it is not PG&E's fault because all the people who died were bad people. In fact PG&E was doing the world a favor by being a conduit for God to execute his will on sinners. Does this argument sound good? PG&E would like it.

Sorry I am a cynic today

Um no, free radicals and the destruction of the natural growth processes of human cells cause cancer.

Yes, sin does produce death, but it's the death of the spirit. I know that when I sin, a piece of me dies, and I feel that too. But it affects the spirit, not the physical. Although, yes, positive thought and prayer can help to fight cancer, absence of it doesn't cause it.

No. It's just that some days god is a nasty old effer and he wants to see people suffer. Read the book of Job. How many other autobiographies have an entire chapter devoted to how the author tortures people.

If god exists then disease is god's creation and plagues are his plagues now as they were in the OT. If he exists, he's evil on a scale that Hitler and Mengele could only dream of.

Sin is the result of you following your own belief instead of what God has ask you to do. But the only reason he give us instruction is because we are here for a reason. You don't care what that reason is. And by the way, Zero Cool ? Common, you couldn't think of your own handle, you had to rip one off? I think a better one would be Zero Sense.

I think stress and negative thinking can contribute to cancer. Sin in my mind is just a path away from knowing God. Meaning that you do things that are destructive to your own and the well being of others.

I think that it could be a contributing factor along with diet, exercise and the other usual suspects.
