I was filled with glimpses of the Spirit during my drug phase (hallucinagens) and it was only recently I truly took what I witnessed to heart.
It now fills me, moves thru me, and escapes me at the same time.
I must thank my loving God that I did not lose my mind to those drugs, for it was Him that held me tight.

I did not nirvana yet still I am email your answer otherwise I will hypnois you or tell you in your dream. Nirvana is a equally psychology will not love to be nirvana, if so you are trying to nirvana, you will never be nirvanaed. Nirvana is a situation of conciously, happy, calm, peace, no desire, no depress, no exciting. Even you are dyeing(the named dyeing is a name)which you cannot come back and conciously. Nirvana conciously know you come for mission and will not follow the changeing view. Nirvana can change view as view is not a stable thing. Nirvana is.
Human normally difficault to control in unconciously or in dream or dyeing. By practise; mostly people can control dream but not dyeing while it will be psychology painful being dye, people easily forget the stable nirvana and will follow the karmas view go for recreation life. Only you are nirvana be a budha will be. Do you have experience in dream while you knew you are in dream and not follow the view to do?
You could mastered the dream come and go. You still could master what will be?

'Normal' life?
Normal, is a label, and as such unsatisfactory - doesn't cover every contingency - or does it?
I think attaining Nirvana would be via a 'Margga Phala' (fruition of the [noble eightfold] path).
One may not have the language to describe it until much later.
It could mess you up, to think of it over conceptually.
You'd see your past lives, see the 'unconditioned', see 'the truth'.
You may get a 'lesson' in philosophy, and see some of the future / the path ahead.
The past would seem meaningless & stress.
Everything would lie on the horizon...
Freedom. :-)

If anyone says they have attained it then they haven't. It's beyond description and concept, although the Buddha tried to label it to help as best as he could, according to the abilities of various listeners. Study the Dharma, and you'll understand. Buddhism eschews the concept of an omnipotent creator being as "illogical".

I understand it as there is no one to be enlightened as enlightenment is all there is and ever has been in the eternal now. It is wonderfull to have a mind at rest and peace in God. All is well, and all is well, and all things are well. The Gnostic teaching is great. ~ : )
