No, prayers are not coincidences. When a person prays for something there is a 50/50 chance it will come true or not. Like flipping a coin, sometimes you guess wrong, sometimes you guess right, if your right people don't call it a coincidence, it's just a lucky guess. When you pray you are only openly expressing your desired outcome. Things may happen the way you had hoped, it may not. Sometimes people get lucky, and even in the most dire of situations, like a dieing family member, everything can turn out alright. It would probably have turned out just the same even if there was no praying. Just because someone doesn't say, "Oh God please let it be heads!!!" Doesn't mean it wont be. Life just happens, and sometimes people are lucky, and sometimes they aren't.

I have spoken many prayers, and each has never been a coincidence. There is no way that it could have been a coincidence. Because on once such occasion, unbeknownst to me events happened in "advance" of my prayer that led to the prayer being answered.

My life must be one large coincidence then. So many times I have knealt in prayer and poured out my every worry to the Lord. The answers I get could not have come from my mind considering I am no where near as wise as the answers and feelings I get are.

People pray all of the time--usually in quiet desperation. They voice their frustrations and desires in the depths of their being--whether they are religious or not....Prayer is a natural human response to the realities of life...

How can prayers be coincidence. When u pray u want someone to hear it right. Not just speak to air and it goes unheard and since u want someone to hear it u want that someone to answer u back right? So one prayers to GOD to know they want this and GOD answers back if its in his will.
But how can u be sure this GOD will here someone like u.Because he is a GOD of love, slow to angry and plentious in mercy. His love is unmeasurable. His mercies for ever. And not only that GOD is your heavenly father.A father hears his child pleas and answers back.
GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.
"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved and u will surely know the answer in heaven if not earth.

I hear you, but no, in my experience they are not. I have many stories of answered prayer, and I don't just mean "please make tomorrow a sunny day" or material asks, or "get along" prayers. If you want examples, please email me, I can't write them all here - it's far too long.
blessings :)

No, people usually pray on purpose...
Though the outcome can be coincidental. But, maybe not. It can't be proven either way.
