i think that the fumes might make you feel sick if it is ok. they made me sick and i wasnt the one getting the highlights. the fumes are harmful but other than that i would ask your hairdresser they might know for sure if not ask your doctor. many people have different views on this. also i might depend on how far along you are.

the only reason they are asserting to not is because of fact your pores and skin is greater delicate than commonplace so as which you will react to the dye. The chemical ingredients they use dont injury the toddler yet i might say wait till you're 12 weeks to be on the risk-free area. i in my opinion dyed my hair whilst i grew to become into 6 weeks and my toddler is coming next week (planned c-area) and is outwardly thoroughly healthful! Highlights are greater helpful than finished head dyes because of fact much less of the chemical comes into touch with your scalp. in case you're in any doubt then your hairdresser will comprehend if the product is risk-free yet i examine all this in somewhat one magazine at the instant so it is going to be sound suggestion. Congratulations!

Highlights are fine. Just tell them you're pregnant and that you are concerned, and make sure they don't get any color on your scalp. They usually don't anyway, with highlights.
I have my hair colored (highlighted) every 6-8 weeks, and my doc says it's fine.

Highlights are ok - I wouldn't die my hair dark though. The chemicals in darker hair dies can do some damage.

Wouldn't necessarily say that it's bad, but avoid it if you can.
I'm hearing now that there are "green" nail and hair salons opening up across the country. They're the new thing. They have eco-friendly products that are also friendly to humans, especially expecting moms.
As I love to say, "Google it, homie. Google it..."

I think coloring your hair is a bad idea no matter when you do it. Your hair gets all damaged and it's never the same!!!
