Genuine Ford brake discs have the tolerances (new and minimum) stamped on them.

They do vary from model to model but as an example new Ford discs would be 22mm - minimum thickness is 18mm at which point they need to be renewed.

Replacing brake pads when at minimum thickness will increase brake pad and disc wear due to the extra effort required when braking.

They are good for one time only, when you do a brake job buy another set of front rotors because they will not have anything left to machine.
