Yes take the day off. And congratulations on your weight lose. Its hard to exercise if your sore all over. When I joined my gym the personal trainer told me to exercise every other day. As long as you go back the next day and don't give up. You should pick one day a week for yourself and maybe just do a mile. Good luck to you.

Well, it sound to me like you are very dedicated. Did you know that over-exercsising is bad for you? And you do in fact need at LEAST one day off in a week. If you work out 4-5 times a week, you will see results and it is enough. Don't kill yourself over it. Consider this: if you exercise like a maniac for a very long time, you are going to burn out quickly and then you won't exercise at all.

treat yourself and take a break. maybe you should walk less distance and work your way up to the 5 miles. don't jog, that will really hurt your joints. walking is just as good. 30 minutes a day is enough to see results. congratulations! keep up the good work.

No. No rest day for you. Drop that weight. haha

Of course you can have a rest day. Remember this quote. No rest, No results.

rest is equally important as training - you need to give your body time to recover.
