Well, I know for a fact that I have had fleas before! Guess I must be really sweet :) Anyway, some friends of mine had dogs that had flees and three of them came home with me, reaked havoc on my feet, ankles and legs. I bought this little kit with a light, and a sticky pad and caught the little boogers. Hope that helps.

Humans groom so frequently we have very few insect pests (at least, none that stay on for more than a few minutes before we notice them). Cats and dogs are just as aware of their fleas as we are but they don't have nearly as many means of removing those biters as we do.

In countries or societies were people live in close quarters with their animals, lice, fleas and other bugs are much more common and less noticable/ concerning to their human carrier. In situations where good hygene is not readily possible (homeless individuals, for example) infestations are sadly, all-too frequent.

No fleas won't live on you but will if necc feed off you, hence why we get bitten. They can live in carpets and even remain dormant until disturbed. I would recommend getting a flea product for you pet (from a vet surgery) ie advantage or frontline and a household spray such as acclaim or indorex. use these products and you should be flea free.
