I am in Louisiana and want to start selling cars and trucks private party. Do I need a license if I do this from my house one car at a time?

All states have a limit on the amount of cars a person can buy and sell per year without a dealer license. Most states, the limit is five, you would need to check with the dealer services division in Louisiana, to find out for sure..

In California I beleive it is no more than 5 cars per year.
Call your local DMV and they will be able to tell you the laws for your state!

I believe it is 5 a year in KY before you need a dealers license.
