Actually, if you are talking about wolves or dogs, there is a dominant female called the alpha *****. I was trying to be nice! =0)

Yep. In fact, and this is not meant in any way as an insult, I'm more "alpha" than my husband. He likes to cook, crochet, watch "feel good" movies, see Broadway musicals, make sure the dishes are done and the laundry gets cleaned...

Yeah.......

And I'm over here saying "ya know, we should really balance our budget!"

I'm really shy so I dont like being an alpha anything normally but when it comes to women being treated like inferiors by men, it does make me act different....I dont mind being 2nd unless someone is forcing me to do be. Pushing me down will only make me stand up higher

I don't think so. I can be a "leader" at times, but I am more comfortable in a "supporting" role. I do not like confrontation and often go out of my way to avoid it. I will however vehemently stick up for my family and friends.

Not sure what you mean by "alpha" - I take it you mean the dominant one.
Probably - my husband is only too happy to drift along, leaving all the responsibility to me. It works for us.

Nope. I'm pi.

I don't think there is such a thing, at least not in common use in the English language (so it would be really hard to define).

Just because we have a term "alpha male" doesn't automatically mean there is a female equivalent because you would be comparing apples and oranges.

There are strong men and weak men. Strong women and weak women.

Just on the weekends. HA!

But seriously... my fiancee is the alpha female! I'm the beta male! The MASTER beta male!

Yes. I am recognized as a leader in my religious work and do not hesitate to take the reins of command if it becomes useful and necessary to do so.
