When we take it to the mechanic says that there is a wire coupling the is connected the the fuel tank at the front passenger floor board. I have detached the wire and reatached it also hehitting the reset button but it wont start. Since the car never seems to have a problem at the shop he says he cant fix it. This has happened while driving, in the parkinglot at a store and in my driveway after driving with no problems. Has anyone ever experienced this problem and if you have how did you fix it? I am tired for having my car towed to the mechanics and the car working when it gets there.

The relay for the fuel pump is bad, have the relay replaced, and also the fuel pump. The 95 Ford Explorers had the same issues on a few due to a fuel pump wiring problem. After the pump and relay are replaced it seemed to solve the problems.

you really need to be more careful when you type (use spell checker too), I can hardly understand, you type worse than me and I'm a 2 finger pecker. any who, have your brilliant mechanic replace the fuel pump and eec relays if he can't find the problem. these relays are inexpensive and common intermittent failure items. I did not really understand what is happening. but here are the usual symptoms. you go for a drive say maybe 15-20 mins., you stop for gas, you turn off the car, you fill it up, you get a diet coke (optional), you get back in the car and it spins over fine but will not run. you call a tow truck, you try one or two more times, same thing you say screw it and wait for the wrecker. it gets to the shop, the mechanic goes out to it, gets in and turns the key and it starts and run just like it did the day you bought it. he fiddles with it a day or 2, you call to find out whats goin on and he tells you he can't find anything wrong with it. if that's about how it goes give the relays a try and cross your fingers cause it just might fix it. another long shot but could be a problem is the crank sensor, not to common on these.

it is particularly helpful to depart it on the a mechanics which you have confidence, and ask her or him topersistent it for a pair of days. because of the fact it form of feels to take place periodically. which would be your maximum suitable wager. wish you artwork it out although.
