I mean God is the biggest fairy tale of them all.

The now famous "peanut butter" video on You Tube starts out with that lady saying, "To say that the universe came into existence by chance is a fairy tale".

But to say that the universe was created by a magic invisible man who no one has ever seen, who lives for eternity in space heaven...that's not a fairy tale?

Come on people. Open your eyes. Throw off your fetters!

Our scientific theories and mathematical proofs are like voodoo to them- they don't understand S&M so they say things like there's no "real" proof or they're just "theories". Simply because they have books written by men about a more mystical time when people ate magic apples and walked on water. Now its just non-magical times I guess but then why are they able to believe in miracles and free will at the same time? They use the old testament to suit certain purposes and the new testatment to suit others. Half those authors were weirdos anyway. King Solomon was most likely schizo or has some sorta bi-polar thing going on. He was perverted and corrupt and they act like he was so wise and good- he's the one that said you will beat your children if you love them. So they're taking advice from crazy people who lived thousands of years ago, because they can't or think its evil to think with the brain they say God gave them. What do they know about Proof? They don't even have theories because theories have to be backed up- thats why they don't understand why creationism can't be taught in science class.

The percentage of people who still believe in god in america is around 70% in england its around 40%, France 27%- we always to lag behind in the trends....

you must not be a science man. Because if you were, you would know that the chances of evolution actually occuring are of astronomical proportions. Pretty much the same as you walking down the street and picking up the winning lottery ticket... 40 days in a row.
The bible on the other hand is incredibly accurate. Before you go off and throw God completely out the window. Try reading about Him and asking others what they think of Him.
He's not magic, and I'd really like to know why you think that. I'm not trying to convert you or anything, but just as with other things in life, you can't make an accurate decision without knowing both sides of the story. And honestly it sounds like you never really gave God a chance. He'll surprise you. Try reading "A Case for Faith" or "A Case for a Creator". It can answer a lot of your questions with science. If you are honestly seeking an answer, you'll research and investigate. But ignorance is the foundation of hatred.

I'm not certain why you state in your question that evolution has been proven time and time again. So have you ever seen a common ancestor change into 1 species and the same type of ancestor change into another in a laboratory? Was that a repeatable experiment? Is the fossil record littered with inter-species (or successful transitional examples) as must be the case? Has evolution explained the Cambrian explosion and the presence of all of the major body types in the same period ? Are you aware that most mutations are harmful to a species, but the theory of evolution relies on millions of successful mutations (at the cellular and systemic levels simultaneously) in order for a common ancestor to become 1 species rather than another? That seems statistically improbable to the point of being ridiculous. I'm not talking about fruit flies where 1 fruit fly has 4 wings and another has no wings. I mean where a fruit fly became a gnat or a flea in a laboratory. How do you propose to test the theory of evolution? Did you know that evolution has no satisfactory answer to the problem of biochemical irreducible complexity? And if you do not believe that, evolution has no power to explain anything whatsoever until there are a living organisms that can reproduce (often at least 2 of the same kind). Evolution must assume living organisms. And have you ever seen inorganic matter self-organize into a protein (or anything else of sufficient complexity to build the components of a cell) where there was not a living organism present doing the organizing? Was it a repeatable experiment in a laboratory? If you believe in a self-organizing Universe, isn't that a little bit magical ? Did you know that the chemicals of the early earth did not resemble those used in the Miller-Urey experiment? Did you know that the M-U experiments are widely regarded as a fraud? It is interesting to me that people are willing to bet their lives on a theory that is not repeatable and does not agree with our everyday experience (i.e., life only comes from life and the fact that species are remarkably stable and are programmed not to change). EDIT: So as proof for the theory of evolution, you offer that one kind of salamander became .... another kind of salamander. The guy talking about adaptation is correct and it is sometimes called microevolution (one species having minor changes within the same species). Such as Darwin's famous bird example--beak changes, etc., but this has no explanatory power to describe all of the different species--only changes within related kinds.

As far as I know, I don't think any reasonable and Bible believing Christian would call "ALL" scientific theories as "fairy tales". But there are some so called "theories" which have no basis or proof and are not confirmed by experimentation which amount to nothing more than fairy tales... Eventhough the Bible is not a book on science it does completely agree with "sound" scientific theories. Not some black box theories like that of Charles Darwin (which doesn't have any proof, none whatsoever...) and Big bang (which is a mere assumption and not at all a theory).

Bible - a fairy tale? Please see what the definition of a fairy tale is... Biblical events are noted by contemporaries and are validated and accepted by people living in the respective times.

To say that Universe came into existence by chance is a fairy tale because people of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries made it up...

Universe is not created by an invisible "man".... rather it is created by God who is higher and more deeper than any human mind can comprehend. The brains that you are using to call the creator an invisible "man" are in fact created by God Himself. It is reasonable to think that a creator would be so far higher in all dimensions than the creation. And the creation cannot limit God to their understanding. God created heavens for a dwelling, not because He needed a dwelling, but because He wanted to have an eternal abode with human beings after judgement. God is beyond time, space. He is original. In fact it is impossible to disect His form which makes sense because He is not included in matter. Please do not try to bring God down to your level....

The universe wasnt created by some magic invisible man. When he created it he created humans to stay with him and have a wonder relationship with him.But humans lust and a lie made them fall down.Scientific theories are not all right.I read of some people who discovered laws because of GOD given wisdom. But not all laws of science are true.I once read somewhere in some good scientific website. That some of the laws should be edited or rewritten i am not sure but one of the two.But u must understand that when GOD wrote his law.It was the same even till now.

But u must understand that man sin separated himself from GOD.so devil sometimes uses every lie to get back to people.I use to believe in that lie that what says science is true and man evovled because of some asteriod hitting earth.
Do u know if man did really evolve like that he would have probably looked like the rocky man in Fantastic Four. But have a good look at urself. They are tiny little organs that are perfected.Every time u eat something which asteriod gave it wisdom to use that for energy and dump that.Humans are not that simple to just evolve from cells.Interview some of the scientists they will eventually give up.

But the no one u ever see ,sees u everyday. He cares for u and loves u so much he sent his son to die for u so u can be reconciled to him.

"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

In fact its more unveliebable that everything was created in an explosion. Have you ever seen some form on life coming after an explosion? The probability of evolution is impossible, laugh at that.

Do you believe that if you wait enough time, lets say 1000000000000 millions of years you will see life forming from nothing? like if some invisible intelligence were using this materials? but in fact without any superior intelligence?

From the simplest bacterias with all its organels, and functionality, transforming in more complex forms of life, and then transforming in everything to end with a human beign ... and all this forms of lives interacting and being connected and interacting with all nature in a perfect equilibrium?... for example trees that produce Oxigen and humans that produce C02, the fruits, the water, everything without INTELLIGENCE?

All kind of animals with EYES, do you know what is a eye? can you make one without intelligence just from an explosion? you make laugh to me too. HAHAHA.... no wait, you make me feel sad for you.

You dont understand how big is the universe and how small you are, the solar system is just like an atom in the sand of the beach, and this beach the galaxy is another atom in another cloud of galaxies.
Its like a bacteria in a microscope beign observed saying "there is no one else out there"

Gio, prove God is a fairy tale! If you can, I will throw off my fetters. But let me ask you. How does not believing in God make you unfettered, except to do what you want whenever you want? To consider that there might be a God is to face the fact that He has said you are His enemy because of sin. Some people can't face that. They don't want to grapple with the fact they might not be perfect in every detail. We all want to feel like if we do everything right, treat everyone right, and everything is going to be alright. So, God, don't be a spoil sport, okay? But, Gio, just because you use cute words to describe God as you see Him, doesn't make Him that way. And don't make the grave error in thinking that He is some old, doddering impotent deity just rocking the eons away in His cosmic rocking chair while we commit sin after sin with no consequences. Open your eyes, Gio, before it's too late. Your tone is like antichrist, mocking God's existence, questioning His power, calling Him a liar... Careful, Gio...

The one who has a problem with the vision, very narow by the way, of God, it is yourself, God is a power, a light...not a guy who was alone in the Universe. God is my father and my very good friend, he had done wonderful things for me, miracles so many times, he speaks between the lines every single day...if this is a Fairy tale for you, is YOUR problem, instead of light, love and purpose you have dark, cold and emptyness...so, go to the bar, drink a bear and feel so very smart then, good for you...I know who I am, why I am here and who brought me.

I don't laugh when a christians insult scientist and I don't laugh when scientists insult christians or anyone with a belief different from their own. I am not a scientist but from the shows I have seen on PBS and the science classes I have taken, I can say that it is all a big question mark. Scientist prove each other wrong all the time and nothing is wrong with having faith in things we as humans can not comprehend.

I'm a Christian but yeah I do know that scientific theories are not fairy tales. Correspondingly I know that God is not a fairy tale as He has changed me and I have proof. He has been able to do for me what I have not been able to do. It may be just as pig headed of you not to view my truths with an objective mind. Pot and kettle and all.
