How else are we supposed to know if we are worshipping God or something else?

If we are not able to weigh for ourselves what is right or wrong or beneficial or harmful or positive or negative then what is the use of having a brain?

And why would an almight God be offended by us using our God-given brains to discern Him/Her correctly?

Nope u cant because GOD never does something that can make u to judge him.He is a holy and righteous GOD.Sometimes it seems to us that GOD is mean to us.Or just helping people around us and not us.Or people around us even though living around us in sin are more blessed than us.But that aint true.GOD does everything for a reason.U wont understand it this side of the world. But on the other side u will be glad GOD did it that way.

Infact GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u .To forgive u.And he doesnt want to judge u.Infact he doesnt want to remember ur sins at all.He has made this way through JESUS.Now why would anyone want too even judge someone who loves u so much that he sent his only son JESUS to die for u.

"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

Sure! God gave us a free will. We can do whatever we WANT to do. We judge God every time we don't agree with something he did. However, Matthew 7:1 says,"Judge not lest ye be judged." So, actually we shouldn't judge ANYONE. Not God, not our parents, not our spouse, not our neighbor, not the guy driving in front of us on a busy Monday morning! If WE judge, then we are opening ourselves up to be judged in the same way.

In layman's terms "fair is fair".

PS: glitter.....I purposefully did NOT give you a "thumbs down" : )

We can but we will always judge wrong. How can people with
pathetically finite minds understand God who is infinite?

God is far beyond our puny understanding, and because He is perfect in every facet of His being and attributes He cannot be judged rightly by an imperfect human.

No, but we can judge as to the existence of God.

If God exists, his view of morality, justice etc. outvotes mine by a long way. It's right because he says so. Plenty of bible verses to make that clear: "My ways are not as your ways", "Who are you, a man, to answer back to God?"
Romans 9:19ff is very direct on this.
(Sorry about his, he, man, it comes with the text)

But the "higher authority" only applies if God is there. So *that* does need to be judged, with care.

Yes everyone must!

In order for anyone to make a choice between God and Satan they must make a judgment about both God and Satan. In order to make a choice you must JUDGE!

Let me guess. As an atheist, your first witness would be Casper, the friendly Ghost?

Sure we can. But mind-controllers will always make excuses for their god because he is never wrong *rolls eyes*

no, because He knows far more than us and our judgements come from a heart and mind that do not know the whole truth...
