Because they believe in no God, they have no morals.

I beg to differ. "All" is a bit too general. Granted, there are quite a few rude people on here, but it isn't restricted to atheists.

However, having said that, I personally get a little irritated about being called stupid, ignorant, or foolish because I don't have supernatural beliefs. And the condescending, patronizing attitude of many Christians, as though they were addressing children, is more than a little irritating. Depending on my mood, I do, occasionally, respond in kind, in which case you'd get it with both barrels. With no apologies.

Civility is always better; but I refuse to be abused or insulted.

I see quite a few rude responses right here in this Q&A, most of them from Christians taking advantage of the opportunity to libel their neighbors of reason. If you can't see that some of your own religious brethren are full of bile and vitriol, just as (unfortunately) some atheists are, then you are wearing blinders that limit your vision to only what you want to see.

Hmmm, looks like you just incited a riot. Maybe if you asked nicely, without the charged words such as "all" and "rude." I'm sure if you said "some" you would have gotten a different outcome. Think about it.

Hey, what? Maybe you're misinterpreting honesty or disagreement as rudeness.

I don't go out of my way to be rude to anybody unless I feel it necessary in defense. People are all different irrespective of religious belief or not. We all make mistakes but on the whole I try not to offend.

There are some very intelligent, open-minded polite atheists on here. You do realize that by asking this question you are, in fact, being rude, right?

I've noticed rudeness on both sides of the religion and spirituality dueling. You just have to weed through the snottiness and find the worthwhile answers. Same as any other category you might choose to browse.

Isnt this kind of a rude question. I have found that people on here regardless of religion are just rude. People looking to get into a pathetic internet argument to fill a void in their time at work. People like to argue their points...bottom line...

WHO GIVES A CRAP! Do you personally know anyone on here. Who cares? really!

The only people in here that have been rude to me in order of incidents are:

1) Christians
2) Angry black people
3) Racist white people

Still no atheists yet.
