Sometimes when a knee has been scoped, the altered mechanics of the knee lead to further degeneration...it's definetly time to follow up with the doc...Have you had synvisc (or other brand name) injections as opposed to cortisone? It's frequently helpful for building up the joint space.

Pain upon trying to fully flex or extend the knee can be the result of further meniscus damage.
